Pay Range: $43-50

The Material Buyer supports PAC-3 procurement execution by developing and administering purchase orders for specialized materials, equipment, and services. The Buyer prepares bid packages, solicits and evaluates supplier proposals, negotiates pricing and delivery terms, and awards purchase orders within established authority.

The Buyer will prioritize schedule and best value in support of the PAC-3 ramp, coordinate closely with SEMAC, GSC, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and suppliers, and resolve procurement roadblocks affecting production. Responsibilities also include processing PO changes, maintaining accurate SAP data, tracking supplier commitments, and supporting delivery recovery actions.

Manager is looking for two level 1 contractors and one level 2 contractor.
Minimum of 2 days on site required, must be willing to accommodate 4 days on site as program requires.

Basic Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's Degree from Accredited university
2) 2 years experience in working in Procurement and/or Overseeing clients/customers/suppliers.
3) 2+ years professional experience using Microsoft Office, SAP
4) Communication, written & verbal
5) Procurement/Commercial, business acumen and analytical skills
6) US Citizenship Required, position is not able to support anyone with Dual Citizenship of another country.
